Default Noobie Fight 2

Alright, this is for Round 2 of Play Testing.

Requirements:
-Two Players
-Each player must make a baseline character [Character Sheet Here]
-Post the character here to confirm your submission

Rewards:
-1 Reputation for the user's PC (if they should make one; does not apply to those from other play test matches)

Again, I should not be necessary for this (other than for map updates if the players don't want to update the map themselves). This should help further cement numbers and locate any existing problems.

Since I'm not in the mood to make any sprites, we'll just use color dots, so choose a color (preferably not green...) and a space on the map to be located at. Any space is fine.

We will be using Invisible Castle's Dice Roller to manage dice, since it's very effective at doing so. If you don't know how to use it, check the Dice Rolls thread. Simple enough. When using a character name, use the following:

USERNAME_Noob2_RollX

Obviously put your username in, and replace X with what roll it is (1 for your first roll, 2 for your second, etc.). The Noob2 part will just be used to denote that this was all for the Noob2 battle.

Just so you know, specialties are based on skills, not on stats. The 'Manipulation' specialty is incorrect >> Furthermore, since only 1 specialty applies, you wouldn't apply both even if that were the case...

Yeah, I was hoping Zeg would too, I was waiting long enough..but ah well. Maybe next time =3 Polearms. Awesome =3 Whats the limit of equipment we can bring? I know last time there was a katana and stuff brought..but in terms of numbers for Kunai..like..whats the limit?

My apologies there. I originally thought you said 'Maneuver: IM' instead, which is indeed another thing that you could choose. Manipulation is a stat, specialties are for skills.

2 points to make:

1) As I have said before, specialties provide extra dice and not extra points to static values (since static values don't gain dice).

2) PDef is /2 just like PDog, so you're at 2.5 PDef, 2 when rounded down.

Am I? What did I calculate? I thought I had all 1000 used in. 225 for Development 1, and then 775 through the other stats.. If you could like..go into what Im missing, or what I possibly could have done to calculate my total to where it is in my sheet, that'd be much appreciated.

You get 1000 total. The 225 is for all your stats to start at 1, since no stat can be 0, so it is 'pre-spent.' To have 0 in a stat denotes the lack of having it, which is fine for melee (unable to comprehend how to swing a sword properly) but is not for Strength (having no capacity to influence the world with your body, which would mean you don't have a body).

Oh, I thought the 225 for Development 1 was part of the 1000 we get to spend, thus how I calculated things. If you look at my stats, specialties and skills, the exp spread through them all equals out to 775, which I then added with the 225 for Development 1, which equaled out to 1000 for me.

So for further clarifying, the 225 for Development 1 is NOT part of the 1000 you gave us to spend?

Oh sweet. I didnt mega-fail with 1 lol. K5 is still my starting point then, with bright-ass pink as my dot.What happens with my Kunai after I throw it and it is block/hits the opponent? Does it just fall to the ground in that square for me to pick up again? or could so-ri actually keep it to use himself?

The male dressed in black heard the rustle of trees from across the river. Something was happening but he wasn't sure what just yet. Since the entity would have to cross the river to get to him, he assumed he would be safe in his current position. His eyes glanced out toward the river through the trees - remaining within their cover. He had yet to experience a projectile weapon so naturally assumed his attacker to be a melee combatant. If he wasn't then there would have been some difficulty - however, firing a projectile from across the river would be near impossible - his adversary would have to come closer. This is what he would wait for.

He looked out from tree cover and realized that nothing was moving, so Raizen decided to risk it and head out of cover for a bit, perhaps to lure out the target. "Hopefully this isnt a game of hide and seek...but if it was, that'd be pretty fun." A smile came to his face as he bounded from branch to branch, and finally along the grass until he had a better view of the gathering of trees across the river.

"Come out, come out wherever you are!" Raizen said in a singing voice.

'Now,' thought the individual wearing all black clothes, he seemed to have enough time to execute his plan perfectly. His adversary seemed to be over-confident about still being out of range with that annoying little sing-song voice of his. However, Hibiki would give him a different tune to sing very quickly.

Hard-pressed for time, the shinobi dashed out from the cover of the forest charging forward. For his first hurdle, he would need to move through the water. A loud 'splash' sounded as he kept moving - wading through as fast as he could move.

He continued, not showing any signs of slowing before he finally reached his opponent. Brandishing the polearm, he came down with a vertical cleaving slash and a loud yell.

Raizen looked ahead and saw his opponent sprinting at him, but before he could think of a good way to react, the opponent in dark clothing raised a polearm. The weapon came down and slashed across the Uchiha's chest and the dark haired teen stumbled back from the vicious blow. "Argh! I blew it..I didnt generate my chakra correctly..I could have maybe avoided that..."



His gaze darted left and right as he tried to come up with a plan. 'I guess this is all I can do for now...' and with that, the Uchiha disappeared back into the dense forest behind him, hoping to regain his stamina as well as formulate a better plan rather than the "go out and do it" plan. The Uchiha escaped into the forest he was stationed at just moments prior and found a new place to hide, tearing off his shirt and then tying it tight around his wound.
